How to Become a New Patient of Eunoia Medical
Eunoia Medical offers virtual mental health support from female physician-therapists who are passionate about helping you feel your best.
We look forward to supporting you with your mental health.

How to get started:
All new patients begin their Eunoia journey with a Meet + Greet Appointment with our Mental Health Nurse.
These 20-minute appointments are designed to ensure Eunoia Medical is the right fit for you and your mental health needs.
Following your Meet + Greet, the next step is to attend a one-hour virtual Eunoia Introduction Session prior to being matched with their physician therapist. More details will be provided during your Meet + Greet.

Here’s what you need to know…
Meet + Greet Appointments
All new patients begin their Eunoia journey with a Meet + Greet Appointment with our Mental Health Nurse. These 20-minute appointments are designed to ensure Eunoia Medical is the right fit for you and your mental health needs. You can book your Meet + Greet here.
Through a brief focused interview, you and our Mental Health Nurse will review your history and goals to ensure our service is the most appropriate for you.
Meet + Greet Appointments are made available every month and have an administrative fee of $15 to book. Please note this fee is not covered by Alberta Health and is non-refundable.
Eunoia Medical Introduction Session
Following your Meet + Greet, the next step is to attend a one-hour virtual Eunoia Introduction Session prior to being matched with their physician-therapist.
This session is to ensure the time you have with your physician-therapist is high value, and will help you in preparing goals for your time in therapy, getting clear on what challenges you’re facing and begin with some simple mental health strategies while you await your First Consult Appointment.
Eunoia Introduction Sessions are offered at a variety of days and times each week to ensure that at least one will fit in your schedule. Booking details will be provided to you at your Meet + Greet.
Your First Physician Consult
Depending on the current waiting time (usually between 2-6 weeks), you will be booked with the first available physician-therapist for your First Consult Appointment.
This appointment is 60-minutes long and is an intake and information gathering appointment, where you and your new therapist will review your medical and mental health history, current challenges, lifestyle, experience with therapy and what you’ve tried in the past.
As a rule, our physicians’ schedules are weekdays, and their availability will be anywhere between the hours of 9am and 4pm. This is also dependent on the doctor's commitments outside Eunoia, therefore future availability may change as well.
Everything You Need to Know
Almost everything you need to know about being a Eunoia patient can be found in our Patient Agreement here.
